Experience this year's foals up close at the Lipizzaner stud farm in Piber

How the little ones learn from the big ones

At the end of February, the first foal of this year saw the light of day at the Lipizzaner Stud Piber. The adorable filly is already taking everyone's hearts by storm.

During the foal experience, all visitors can expect an excursion to the "nursery" of our Lipizzaners. You will not only experience this year's new arrivals, but also learn details about the birth, the first days, the individual characters and what the little ones awaits in the next months and years.

How many foals are born at Piber Stud every year? What happens to the foals in the course of their lives and does every colt go to the Spanish Riding School?

At the foal experience at Piber Lipizzaner Stud, you will not only find answers to all your questions about the youngest Lipizzaners at the stud, but you will also get up close and personal with this year's offspring.

On Mother's Day (12 May), this ticket gives you access to the foal experience at 13:30 as well as all-day access to the interior of the stud, the museum and the carriage shed. The stud is open from 10:00 - 16:30 (stable rest 12:00 - 13:00).

Will all the Lipizzaner mares at Piber Stud become mothers at some point? Who are the fathers behind the sugar-sweet offspring? Complement your visit to the foal experience with a visit to the other mares and stallions at the stud and immerse yourself in the history, breeding and rearing of the Lipizzaners at Piber Stud as part of a guided tour at the stud.

On Mother's Day (12 May), this ticket gives you access to the foal experience at 13:30 and all-day access to the interior of the stud, the museum and the carriage shed as well as access to a guided tour of the stud at 11:00 OR 14:15 (select the desired time when purchasing your ticket). The stud is open on the day from 10:00 - 16:30 (stable rest 12:00 - 13:00).
