What awaits me at the Piber Climbing Park?
In the climbing park of the Lipizzaner stud Piber, seven courses await the visitors. The offer ranges from a children's course specially designed for toddlers from 4 years of age with safety at a height of approx. 1 meter to a schooling course and five further courses for children and adults. The highlight is the final of these five courses: an approx. 300 m long Flying Fox with a view above the surrounding pastures.
For which age group is the climbing park suitable?
The park is suitable for all climbing and sports enthusiasts from the age of 4. A minimum body height of 110cm is required for individual stations or courses.
When will the climbing park be open?
The climbing park will open in 2023 (tba). The season ends with the end of the main season at the Lipizzaner Stud Piber on October 31. During this period the climbing park will be open daily (except in extreme weather situations) from 9.30 am to 5 pm.
Can I visit both the stud farm and the climbing park in one day?
Yes, special tickets allow reduced admission to both attractions if purchased at the same time.
Where is the entrance to the climbing park?
The climbing park is located at the foot of the hill of the Lipizzaner stud Piber. Immediately after the parking lot for visitors, you can find the ticket office on the right side. On the opposite side is the entrance to the climbing park.
What do I have to bring with me when visiting the climbing park?
Due to safety reasons helmets and climbing harnesses need to be rented at the Piber climbing park. You are not allowed to use your own equipment. Resilient, closed-toe footwear is required for a safe visit. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at the ticket office. Bags brought along can be stored in lockable boxes provided for this purpose at your own responsibility.
Are there any specific conditions for visiting the climbing park?
Before entering the climbing park, conditions of participation must be read, acknowledged and signed.
Where can I buy tickets for the climbing park?
Tickets can be purchased in the ticket office on site. For groups of 20 people and more, advance reservations by mail or phone are mandatory.
