Visit the world famous Lipizzaner Stud in Piber, where Imperial baroque horses are bred for the Spanish horse riding school - an experience for the whole family!
We offer daily guided tours in German:
Times: 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 hrs
We also offer Audio Guides in English, Italian, French, Slovenian, Hungarian and German.

The main aim of the federal stud of Piber is to breed the world famous lipizzan stallions which perform in the Spanish riding school in Vienna. On the guided tour you will get to know all about the history of these imperial baroque horses. We also offer carriage rides, tournaments or tours on the alpine pastures to admire the young stallions.

Unbelievable but true, the world famous Lipizzaner count as one of the endangered species on the listing of domesticated horse breeds.
Also you can make an active contribution towards preserving Europe's oldest cultural bred horse.
With an annual fee of € 50,- you can become a member of this exclusive association and will be kept up to date with all the latest news in Piber.
