Winter season in the Lipizzaner Stud of Piber from 1.11.2011 - 30.03.2012

Daily guided tours of the stud for individual tourists at 11 and 2 o`clock.

Experience the Lipizzaner also during the winterseason! Whilst on the guided tour you will have the opportunity to visit the Lipizzaner in their stables, get valuable information at our show farrier and be guided through our carriage museum. Of course your ticket is also valid for our cinema, our showroom about the TV series "Das Glück dieser Erde" and afterwards you have the opportunity to browse through our souvenir shop, which is open for visitors.

Watch the newborn foals daring their first steps out in the paddock or in our outdoor enclosure!

We expect our first foals for 2012 as from the mid of January! Visitors on the guided tour will have the possibility to watch and admire our new offsprings clumsily, venturing their first frolicking, always under the watchful eye of the broodmare.

We are delighted to announce the birth of our first foal of the season 2012 in Piber. Last Sunday, at 5:05 a.m., the little filly came into the world. Initially, the expected date of birth had been Friday 13th, but obviously the dam had been a bit superstitious.

Come and watch the curious, droll foal during our daily stud tours for visitors at 11.00 am and 14.00 pm (also on holidays). You will visit the Lipizzaners in their stables, the farrier as well as the stud`s inner courtyard and the carriage house.
