Experience the young stallions at the alpine pastures

Alpine pasture experience "Young wild stallions"

Who can't remember their own youth - full of temperament and drive? Every year, our 1 to 3 year old Lipizzaner stallions spend exactly this time of their lives on the Stubalm in the warm summer months. During this time, they not only catch the freshest grasses and the best alpine herbs, but also acquire kick resistance as well as strong sinews and ligaments due to the uneven terrain. On our guided tours of the alpine pastures you will experience the "young wild ones" up close and learn more about the alpine pasture life of our Lipizzaner youth.

  • The alpine pasture tours only take place in good weather. If the guided tour cannot take place due to bad weather, the ticket is automatically valid for the following date. If the tour cannot take place or if it is the last tour of the season, please contact office@piber.com.
  • The Stubalm is approx. 30-35 minutes by car from the Piber stud farm (own journey!)
  • A hike of approx. 20 minutes from the car park to the stables is planned
  • Sturdy shoes and comfortable hiking clothing recommended

The tour is held in german language.

Important: Dogs are not allowed on this tour!
